A good cup of tea is very hard to beat.
Paddy Holohan may have lost to Louis Smolka tonight as the main event at UFC Dublin, but The Hooligan put up a great show in what was a wonderfully technical battle at the 3arena.
The Dubliner tried to use his ground skill and grappling to get one over on the American, but when Smolka started batter him from a mount in the second round it looked very bad for the home favourite.
Eventually Holohan was caught in a rear naked choke and tapped out to slump to a loss in front of a raucous crowd.
After a win or loss most people would be looking forward to a drink or maybe a good chippy from down the local, but there was only one thing that Paddy had on his mind afterwards; a cup of Irishman’s wine of course.
