UFC Octagon girl Brittney Palmer’s husband avoids attempted murder charge

Disappointing result

UFC ring girl Brittney Palmer is still with her husband despite everything.

Palmer’s husband, Aaron Zalewski faced charges of attempted murder, spousal battery and criminal threats after he allegedly choked her “within an inch of her life” several months ago, according to police records obtained by TMZ.com.

Those charges are likely be dropped if Zalewski “owns what he did and shows contrition.” Rather than standing trial and potentially facing a prison sentence, it looks like he might just have to complete an anger management course.

It sounds like his lawyer secured him the deal of the century considering how the story played out.

LAPD says things got physical when they wrestled for her phone — Zalewski noticed she was recording the argument, and during the struggle he threw Palmer, and she hit her head on a bedpost. Brittney told cops Zalewski yelled, “Pack your f**king bags and go!” — but wouldn’t let her leave. She says he threw her down again — pinning her face down on a mattress, with his knee in her back. She says she struggled to breathe for 2 minutes while he held her down.

Palme has meanwhile been a notable absentee at recent UFC events as she attempts to straighten this situation out.
