Time to throw in the towel DC because there’s no way you’re getting back up from this.

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier don’t like each other. In fact, they pretty much despise each other’s guts.

The two have made absolutely no attempt of hiding their hatred of one another ever since they were first booked to throw down at UFC 178, which was later rescheduled for UFC 182.

In the build up to that fight, it seemed that every time the pair got together for media obligations, it ended in some sort of controversy. The lowest point of this, was undoubtedly the infamous hotel brawl that happened during an early stare down.

Since Jones defeated Cormier at UFC 182, he’s been involved in multiple scandals and had his belt revoked for his involvement in a hit-and-run in which a pregnant woman broke her arm. Cormier subsequently became champion, claiming the vacant title by defeating Anthony Johnson.

Jones has since returned and will be hoping to win back the belt he never lost against DC at UFC 197. Unsurprisingly, since the fight was announced, the two have been going at it on social media.

However, Jones may have finally put this internet war to bed with an Instagram post he uploaded on Tuesday night. Bones put up an image of the UFC 197 poster with a character from the sitcom Family Matters photoshopped in Cormier’s place.

The current light heavyweight belt holder bares a striking resemblance to Police Officer Carl Winslow as portrayed by actor Reginald VelJohnson.
