Champions league holders, Paris Saint-Germain, suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Brazilian side, Botofogo, in the Club World Cup on Friday.
This leaves Botofogo top of group B with two wins from two games. PSG fall behind them to second in the Club World Cup group and level on points with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
Footage has emerged on social media of a brawl between the PSG and Botofogo fans prior to kick-off in the Rose Bowl Stadium.
Supporters of both teams can be seen throwing punches at each other in the stands. At many points in the video, fans had to get involved to attempt to break up the carnage with some even falling over as a result.
Two PSG fans can be seen seemingly targeting a Botofogo fan specifically and throwing punches, before another fan of the Brazilian outfit stops them.
Another Botofogo supporter soon after appears to charge at one of the many wearing a PSG jersey. The supporter is knocked over by his target, who looks to have pushed him and the Botofogo man falls over.
In what looks to be a sickening form of retaliation, the PSG fan seemingly stamps on the head of the Botofogo faithful who is on the deck.
There appears to have been no stewards or police around in the Rose Bowl Stadium to end the vicious brawl. It hasn't been revealed what began the fight or what injuries were sustained.
