WATCH: Four years ago today, Conor McGregor won his last pre-UFC fight with this KO
Conor McGregor etched his name into MMA history this year by becoming the first man to hold two UFC belts simultaneously, when he beat Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205.
But it was not the first time the Irishman has held two belts simultaneously in one promotion.
New Year's Eve marks the four-year anniversary of McGregor's last fight before making the jump to the UFC, a first-round KO of Slovakia's Ivan Buchinger.

That victory ensured 'The Notorious' added a lightweight belt to the featherweight title he secured with victory over Dave Hill earlier in 2012.
The Irishman lost just once during his two-year Cage Warriors tenure, suffering a submission defeat to Joseph Duffy in 2010, and has gone from strength to strength since crossing over to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
He has gone 9-1 in the promotion with seven KOs, four of those knockouts coming in the first round of fights but none quicker than the 13-second stoppage of Jose Aldo at UFC 194.
