The Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival at the Curragh is one of the highlights of the Irish summer.
The best of racing action, live music, top class food, all the fashion and, hopefully, beautiful weather - the Curragh really is the place to be from Friday 30 June to Sunday 2 July.
The jewel in Irish flat racing’s crown, the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, takes place on Saturday 1 July. Steeped in tradition and racing history, the event is Ireland’s most historic race, with 2017 marking the 152nd Irish Derby.
With a limited capacity of just 6,000 people this year due to the redevelopment of the racecourse, Saturday is already a sellout, but you can still make it to the Curragh courtesy of SportsJOE.
SportsJOE Derby Friday features the Hackett Apprentice Jockeys Derby and the party night of the festival with the Apres Racing Party featuring the Honky Tonk Angels. Friday is also the day for the men to up their style stakes as the Hackett judges look for the Curragh’s Most Stylish Man. The first race is off at 5.45pm.
To celebrate SportsJOE's sponsorship of the day, we have three sets of four tickets to give away for Derby Friday. To be in with a chance of winning tickets for you and three friends just answer the question below.
