There aren't many horses - or jockeys - that could pull this off.
All hail Ruby Walsh and Killultagh Vic.
He's won some huge races on some fabulous horses but Ruby will have had few rides to match this one.
Walsh was on board Killultagh Vic in today's Coral.ie Novice Chase at Leopardstown.
The horse was backing up its odds-on favouritism as it cruised towards the final fence, only to sprawl across the turf on landing.
While that would be the end for most horses, Walsh cajoled Killultagh Vic back to his feet and then back into his running, hauling back rivals Blair Perrone and Lord Scoundrel.
The Willie Mullins mount overtook the pair in the final 100 yards to win by under a length.
