Being AP looks like it might be the Citizen Kane of horseracing documentaries.
A trailer has been released for “Being AP,” a documentary which follows the story of AP McCoy during his final year on the saddle.
The trailer gives a window into the mindset of arguably the greatest jump jockey of all time as he shows his unrelenting desire to succeed and his reluctance to turn his back on the sport that served him so well. It also shows glimpses of the punishing effect in had on his body down the years.
The film is set to debut at the Toronto Film Festival in September and looks like it is a must-see for horseracing fans, sports fans and cinephiles.
