Just what you need on a Monday
If you feel like a pick me up or maybe a reminder that there are still good people out there then a letter from a small boy somewhere in Sligo should do the trick.
The Irish Injured Jockeys tries to help those brave men and women who risk their life and limbs to provide us with some of the most thrilling sport you can imagine after they suffer serious injuries in their line of work.
They deal with jockeys who are suffering with some of the most devastating injuries but thanks to a small boy their work and fundraising efforts have just got that tiny bit easier.
The Fund tweeted out this picture today of letter they received from Barry McNamara who sent them €25 from the money he received as Holy Communion Gifts earlier this year.
Many thanks to Barry McNamara from Sligo who donated some communion money, loving the cute card he sent #everydayhero pic.twitter.com/du7nJudrbH
