Joseph Loftus

We’ve a big weekend of racing ahead of us.

The Paddock podcast panel have provided their big three tips for Saturday’s racing action, in the first edition of Paddock Picks.

Nick Luck has tipped Myretown in the 2.55 at Newbury on Saturday, while Oli Bell has gone for the legendary, Constitution Hill, in the 2.00 at Newcastle on Saturday.

Tom Stanley has another tip for Saturday with Live Conti in the 2.15 at Newbury.

The Paddock is a brand new weekly show bringing together some of the most legendary voices in racing: Oli Bell, Nick Luck, Rishi Persad and Tom Stanley.

In episode one, they’ve kicked off with a proper heavy-hitting guest, the one and only John Francome.

Across the hour, the panel dig into everything: today’s best jockeys, the state of the industry, what TV racing used to be like behind the scenes, and why certain riders are ‘born with a brain in their head’.

The Paddock is a show hosted by Oli Bell, with weekly episodes with the best tips, news, talking points and special guests from the world of horse racing. Catch The Paddock on YouTube, or listen on podcast – wherever you get your podcasts.

Nick Luck – Myretown – 2.55 – Newbury, Saturday

“My one in the bank is courtesy of Lucinda Russell who I interviewed on the very popular Nick Luck podcast. Myretown in the Coral Gold Cup at the weekend.”

Tom Stanley – Live Conti – 2.15 – Newbury, Saturday

“I’ll stick with Live Conti in the Gerry Feilden. The four-year-old for Dan Skelton with Tristan Durrell riding because Harry’s up at Newcastle.”

Oli Bell – Constitution Hill – 2.00 – Newcastle, Saturday

“I’m going to go in the Fighting Fifth. It’s probably not that boring but he is, you know, Constitution Hill. I think if he’s back he wins it. So I think he’s good value in the race.”

Episode 1 of ‘The Paddock’ is LIVE now across YouTube and on podcast – available wherever you get your podcasts!
