Menorah to carry top weight for Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham

The 2010 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle winner will take top weight at Cheltenham on November 15th for the Paddy Power Gold Cup.

The handicaps have been revealed with plenty of Irish interest for the feature of the winter festival in the Cotswalds

Menorah tops the weights  for Paddy Hobbs after a massive win at Wetherby last week with 11st 12lb.

JP Mc Manus has a potential 7 runners with Colour Squadron at 10st 10lb the leading fancy.

Last year’s winner  Johns Spirit will take 11st an increase on the 10st 2lb he carried to victory in 2013.

Carlow’s Willie Mullins has four entered with Champagne Fever top weight for his stable at 11st 2lb, and is joined in the field by Ballycasey, Felix Yonger and The Paparrazi Kid.
