It could not have happened to a nicer man.

Mouse Morris has made history this afternoon as his mount Rule The World claimed the 2016 Aintree Grand National under David Mullins. The horse made a stunning late charge to deny The Last Samurai and Vics Canvas to make it an Irish and English Grand National double for the Fethard trainer. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/718839557303758848 It was 19-year-old David Mullins first ever ride in the national and he was stunned at the win. https://twitter.com/Channel4Racing/status/718838181089583105 Morris, of course, won the Irish Grand National just two weeks ago with Rogue Angel, and the win was an especially emotional one for his family after the death of his son Christopher last year. He was lost for words as he tried to speak to Claire Balding after the win. https://twitter.com/Channel4Racing/status/718839685682843648 Everyone was delighted to see the Tipperary man claim the win. https://twitter.com/dan2231/status/718840532382957570 The win made it a triple-whammy for owner Michael O'Leary. https://twitter.com/jacquihurley/status/718839830478725120 There was also good news for race fans as all horses and jockeys came home safely. https://twitter.com/AtTheRaces/status/718840040277864448 If anything can help you make a lifestyle change, it's a Grand National win. https://twitter.com/A_Lynam/status/718839487690895361
