We are so so glad that we missed our chance to go to the bookies before work today.

We had earmarked quite a large wad of dosh for Willie Mullins stable star Faugheen to continue his incredible career in today's Morgiana hurdle at Punchestown. And we weren't the only ones https://twitter.com/theracingreport/status/665899746691825664 The horse, who was unbeaten in 10 races up until this afternoon, was odds on for the race by being sent off the 1/6  favourite, but was sensationally beaten by Nichols Canyon also by Mullins at a delicious price of 7/1. Before the race many had predicted that 'Faugheen the Machine' would continue the unbeaten streak handily enough, https://twitter.com/HonestFrank/status/665832142149132288 But it didn't turn out so well and afterwards punters were natutrally stunned https://twitter.com/LadsNags/status/665897577477480448 https://twitter.com/Dickiebromage/status/665899912270389248 https://twitter.com/RebelDevil71/status/665899065973022722 https://twitter.com/Conmort/status/665897361940574208 https://twitter.com/BenWignall1/status/665897132696670208 https://twitter.com/Liamtaylor94/status/665901446920032256 https://twitter.com/padraigamond21/status/665898268967215104 However, the good news for racing fans is that the loss means better odds for the main feature on the horizon, the Champion Hurdle in Cheltenham in March according to Ladbrokes Ladbrokes   https://twitter.com/jwracingdotcom/status/665900301686296576
