AP McCoy to receive knighthood

Homehorseracing

Sir Tony McCoy.

AP McCoy has been awarded a knighthood. The 41 year old, from Moneyglass in Co. Antrim, has been honoured after a stellar racing career, which saw him win 19 consecutive Champion Jockey titles, as well as every major race in the sport. McCoy retired earlier this year and rode a total of 4,358 winners in his career. The former jockey called the knighthood his 'greatest honour'. https://twitter.com/AP_McCoy/status/682342972369719298
