The legendary colt completed the Triple Crown in 1973 with an unprecedented 31-length victory in the Belmont Stakes in a record time that still stands.
American Pharoah finished off his own Triple Crown – the first seen since 1978 – last weekend at Belmont Park, and though he was mighty impressive, his performance pales in comparison to that of Secretariat.
