Golf can be schmaltzy sometimes, but these are pretty cool. The Open Championship can be quite sanctimonious about how it is the one true golf tournament, but when you hear these legends of the game talking about what it means to lift the Claret Jug, you will be VERY excited about next weekend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O470TDj49tc What a legend Gary Player is! 'If I had to choose between my wife and the Claret Jug... I'd miss it'. He looks great for 79 too. Unsurprisingly, Tiger Woods comes across as a *beep* bit of a *boop* robot but that promo was good enough to make you forget that we are all being robbed of a potentially classic Spieth v McIlroy showdown because Rory wrecked his ankle in a football match.
