There's a reason why Jason Day is currently on top of the PGA rankings.

The Australian pulled off an absolute wonderputt from distance during the the final round of The Barclays on Sunday.

71 feet from the cup, Day kept his head down, took a delicate swing and drained it for birdie on the 15th hole.

The incredible shot was somewhat reminiscent of the final scene in Happy Gilmore, although the one Adam Sandler's character made was arguably more realistic than this beauty.

Check out Day's wonderputt in the video embedded below.

He has made a habit of sinking putts from distance on the Tour this season. https://twitter.com/KylePorterCBS/status/769996559127838722?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw It almost makes you wonder why he even bothers trying to get his approach shots close to the pin in the first place.
