Sergio Garcia saw his round three crumble into agonisingly frustrating smithereens when he quadruple bogeyed the par-4 fifth hole at The Players Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Garcia, who won the tournament in 2008, gave himself the most testing of uphill tasks if he is to repeat that success when he needed five stabs at putting home (effectively six but it will go down as a five-putt because the first was from the fringe).
