VIDEO: Shane Lowry and Graeme McDowell agree on who would win in a fight

The question on everyone's lips

What good friends haven’t had the conversation, which usually gets increasingly heated, about who would triumph if they were to fight?

Shane Lowry and Graeme McDowell recently broached the subject while representing Ireland at the World Cup of Golf.

Taking a break from the Melbourne tournament, the two close friends took part in a Mr & Mrs-style game during which Lowry and McDowell tackled questions like “Who spent more on an engagement ring?” and “How much does a pint of Guinness cost in the G-Mac’s restaurant?”.

Then came the age-old question that has caused many a shoving match between competitive lads down the pub as they were asked to name who they felt would win in a fight.

McDowell conceded that he would come out second best against Lowry, who admitted to having a few pounds on the Portrush man, due to his background in rugby and GAA.

There are no arguments from us there. We too would hate to find ourselves on Lowry’s bad side.
