McIlroy agrees with the consensus that Miguel Angel Jimenez is an absolute hero.
Jimenez is widely known for his celebratory dances after sinking a hole-in-one, and when he notched up his 10th hole-in-one at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth last weekend, he busted a move in typical fashion.
World number one Rory McIlroy caught up with Jimenez recently and made sure to let him know how much he appreciated his antics on the course.
In fact, he just about came short of professing his love for the Spaniard.
"You're my hero. You know why? Every time I turn on the TV, you either make a hole-in-one, or you hole out and you do your little [McIlroy dances Jimenez-esque jig]."
"He does it every week. Every week you hole a shot."
