Video: Rory McIlroy “pulls a Jesus” to save par

For his next miracle, Rory McIlroy will cure a leper.

Things looked bleak for the Hollywood native on the fifth hole at Whistling Straits when he fired the ball into the drink, just off the green.

The stubborn world number one was reluctant to concede defeat, so he decided the best course of action his pants up, emulate the Christian Saviour by walking on water and chip the submerged ball onto the green at the PGA Championship.

The perfectly executed shot set himself up nicely for a relatively simple putt for par.
