If you have ever had the pleasure to see a professional golfer up close you will know that the most impressive part if their game is the driving. The sheer power, accuracy, and distance they generate off the tee is truly shocking to the average hacker. Some of you might put it down to the hand-made, carefully hones equipment they have for their big stick but it might be time to think again. Over the weekend, Martin Kaymer and Bernhard Langer took part in a long-drive contest with a difference. The two Germans used their putter off the tee to see who could hit it the farthest. Yes, the old flat stick. We'll level with you, we would probably miss the ball completely from the tee if we used our putter but it seems that multiple major winners like Langer and Kaymer are considerably better than us. While Langer hit the ball an incredible 208 yards off the tee with his putter, Kaymer managed to drive the ball 232 yards, further than most of us can manage on a good day with the driver. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTaKhGLB-Ds
