Finally, we have a guaranteed way to make golf more exciting.
Chambers Bay, the venue for this week's US Open, has been savaged by the participants due to the state of its greens but due to a law in the state where it takes place, some fans might not be too concerned.
Chambers Bay is in Tacoma, Washington, which is one of two states in America where marijuana is legal. And while golf may have a reputation for being very straight-laced, fans are actually allowed carry weed onto the course with them.
American wesbite SB Nation says that stewards have been told to wave fans through even if they are carrying the drug, although it is illegal to consume it in public so *technically* they won't be able to do anything with it.
Patrons will have to either smuggle in a few brownies or maybe go down the Will from the Inbetweeners route.
