Lowry started his afternoon at the Tour Championship in Dubai with three bogeys in four holes but this ace on 13 cheered his bearded self up no end

Lowry began his day tied, along with Rory McIlroy, for the lead but got off to a ropey start. As he addressed his ball at the tee box for the 13th hole, Lowry was four shots off the lead. He then proceeded to do this... Henrik Stenson leads the way but Lowry is hot on his heels. Here is the European Tour's tweet, paying tribute to the Offaly native's career first:
