We know from going to games that supporters will almost do anything or wear anything to show their allegiance to their county or club side.
Painting your face, painting your dog or painting your house are all acceptable signs of madness when the summertime comes around, and the smell of freshly cut grass and championship drives you to do crazy things.
But what if your support wasn’t so visible? Does it still count?
Well we think we may have found the most secret, but intimate way of getting behind your county by wearing underwear with your county name on the back this summer
A UK company is expanding into the GAA market and the good folk at Optimum Sports are now catering for the hurling or football fan in your life in a very delicate area.
They are taking orders from next week and we have to say we love their tagline of “it’s all about the tackle!”
Indeed.
The trunks are also of course for players and we think they probably aimed at men who wish to protect their tackle, in the tackle, so to speak.
