Anything that isn’t bona fide Zlatan is just a cheap imitation and should be treated as such.
That’s exactly how Manchester United’s talismanic new forward dealt with a Zlatan impersonator who invaded the field of play to meet his hero…like a tawdry rip off.
The guy, who did actually quite look like the Swedish striker from afar, managed to get onto the pitch at Old Trafford as United were celebrating a goal in the 4-1 victory over champions Leicester City.
The guy ran up to congratulate his iconic doppelganger but Zlatan wasn’t having any of it.
The former Paris Saint-Germain striker, who is a black belt at taekwondo and hard as nails, royally pied him off, landing a swift palm to the face.
Fake Zlatan didn’t seem perturbed and swung his arms around the number nine and wouldn’t let go. But cool as you like Zlatan sent the guy and a steward, who had gripped the invader, onto their backsides.
The best bit of the whole video is one United fan, who had clearly seen enough messing about, screaming ‘Get off the pitch you tw*t’ as the impostor was led away.
Classic.
