He was very careful to specify which Ronaldo he referred to, and it was not that one that used to grace the wing at Old Trafford.
"My three favourite players were Ronaldo, the Brazilian, Ronaldinho and (Zinedine) Zidane because they’re players who were beautiful to watch play and they’re ones who made me want to play football," said Martial.

Unsurprisingly, for a man who has scored just 16 senior goals, it ranks as his favourite yet. "I think the greatest goal I’ve ever scored is the one against Liverpool," he said. "It was amazing for me and it really made my name in the Manchester team."
