The 125/1 accumulator to follow on a cracking day of World Cup action

Patrick McCarry

Argentina and France both in action today.

The score currently reads – Cristiano Ronald 4, Lionel Messi 0.

There is no way in hell the Argentine great will allow those figures to stand untouched for long and he has another chance to get both himself and his country going this evening. Argentina vs. Croatia is the stand-out game of the day and we will get to that soon.

But first, here are another couple of bets to kick off our Day 7 accumulator.

Denmark and Australia are up first (1pm) and the Aussies will need to get something out of this tie to stay alive in the tournament. Denmark were not too hot in their narrow win over Peru and Eamon Dunphy labelled them a hopeless shower before, during and after the match. He is not a fan.

We are going with a 1-1 draw here and the correct score odds of that are 5/1.

On next to the 4pm kick-off between France and Peru. We fancy France to win this one with a couple of goals to spare (Peru are 5/1 if you fancy a shock victory) so we are taking a look at who will score their first goal.

Olivier Giroud and Kylian Mbappe are both 9/2 but out pick is Antoine Griezmann at 10/3. He racked up the goals at Euro 2016 and already has one to his name in Russia.

On to the evening kick-off and it is a tough one to call.

Neither Croatia nor Argentina have set the tournament alight but we are backing Messi & Co. to get the job done at 11/10.

If that seems like a safe enough bet, we’re not straying to far from the neatly trimmed path here. Lionel Messi to official join the party with an anytime goal at 13/10. Yes, please.

All told, that comes in at just a tad over 125/1.

It should be a great day of football and it is time for some top stars to shine.
