After one person tweeted: "Absolutely didn't happen of the year award," Sophie promptly responded: "Absolutely did happen fc," followed by the video below which has amassed over 500,000 views at the time of writing.
Shelvey, 31, was joined by fellow Nottingham Forest teammates Chris Wood and Jesse Lingard and in the video shared by Sophie, the midfielder and Wood are joined by Sophie watching highlights of the former Newcastle and Swansea man.
The video, put together by NUFC Comps, features a 10 minute highlights reel of the 31-year-old's most memorable moments for Newcastle - where he played between 2016 and 2023. Some of the clips include long-range finishes and passes, including a free-kick against Brighton at St James' Park. It's unknown if the video itself was put on by Shelvey himself or if teammates Wood and Lingard did it as a way to wind him up. Lingard has since left Forest while Wood and Shelvey remain at the City Ground after joining the club in January. Related links:Go on Jonjo ??? pic.twitter.com/sSKuTamNyS
