Anyway, the big Ivorian centre half had us laughing and intrigued in equal measures yet again during Liverpool’s victory over Villarreal to book their spot in the Europa League final.
During the first half, before Jurgen Klopp’s men advanced to the decider in Basel on May 18, Kolo Toure was following the pressing instructions to the very letter.

Anyway, he played his part in booking Liverpool’s place alongside Sevilla in the European final. So did the rest of them.
The rest of them though just happened to do it with a bit more obvious class.
