Were you not watching Serie B’s crunch clash between Trapani and Frosinone?
You nearly definitely weren’t, but anyway, there was a fair chunk at stake.
A win would have lifted Trapani out of the relegation play-off spots and a win keeps Frosinone in the promotion race.
Why are we telling you this? It’s not particularly important but Trapani’s goalkeeper was nearly the away side’s hero as he saved a penalty during the match.

Ultimately, Mirko Pigliacelli and his dazzling footwork, as well as goalkeeping skills, were not enough, Trapani lost the tie 1-0 as Frosinone lie just one point off automatic promotion with two games to go.
As for the goalkeeper who captured our imaginations, his Trapani side is two points from safety with two games to go.
