A special appearance

Credit where it’s due, roping Jose Mourinho into appearing at E3 was great marketing for the new Fifa 17 video game.

There’s going to be a couple of big changes for the upcoming release of the franchise including a brand new storyline feature and the inclusion of Premier League managers for the very first time, as was revealed at the E3 press conference.

After making the revelation on stage, EA’s representative went on to list who he thought were the three best managers coming to the game – Pep Guardiola, Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp.

Fifa 17 managers

These three Premier League bosses are undoubtedly some of the biggest names in the English top flight, but there was one superstar manager whose exclusion was noteworthy – Mourinho.

Manchester United’s new boss was waiting backstage, clearly in on the joke, and he stepped out just after the EA man exclaimed that “these three managers were second to none.”

Cue applause from the excited crowd as some awkward b*nter ensued between the Special One and the EA dude.
