It's hard to believe that Olympique de Marseille were the league leaders before Christmas, considering they are now battling it out to qualify for the Champions League in fourth place.
They made qualifying for Europe even trickier on Friday against Nantes did themselves no favours on Friday, and goalkeeper Steve Mandanda will bear the brunt of the blame for the loss.
The goalkeeper made inexplicably put one of his defenders under immense pressure by passing it to him while the opposition's attack were closing in. The defender decided to immediately give the ball back to his keeper inside his own box, but Mandanda made a fatal slip, allowing the hosts to grab the only goal in the game.
Another loss, and another step backwards from Champions League football next season. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
