“It’s ok. I’m fine, I’m fine”
Poor Leonardo Bonucci doesn’t find the net that often, and when he does score, he apparently nearly kills himself trying to enjoy it.
The Italian defender fired Juventus 2-1 up against AC Milan in the Serie A yesterday. The goal itself, a tap-in from a corner, was fairly unremarkable but the significance of putting his side up against their rivals was clearly all too much for Bonucci.
The 27-year-old was so distracted savouring his goal, it almost harmful to his health. Bonucci tried to show his appreciation of the supporters by making a darting run over to the stands. However, he had a little trouble trying to clear the advertising hoardings on the side of the pitch.
To Bonucci’s credit, he swiftly got back to his feet after his spectacular tumble. Check out his immaculate recovery below.
