If you’re one of three people alive who haven’t yet seen Charlie Adam’s ludicrous 50 metre goal yesterday, take a gander at the bottom of the story.

A player would be overjoyed to score just one of these bad boys in their career but, after doing a bit of research, we’ve learned that Adam has actually pulled off the technique before.

During a reserves game for Blackpool in 2009, Adam let fly from the halfway line and saw his lob sail over the goalkeeper.

We’re sure that ‘keepers will remain firmly on their line when playing Stoke from now on.
