At last, Kevin Nolan gets to play with Torres, Suarez and Henry.

Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher have picked their teams for the unique charity match on March 29 and it’s fair to say that the defender has got the raw deal.

The two Anfield legends will lead two select sides out against each other in a game organised by the Liverpool FC Foundation and there is some cracking talent on show.

Whilst both squads will comprise of more than the 11 they picked today, we’ve cobbled together a team of their elite picks.

And, yes, elite includes the like of Brad Jones, Craig Noone and Ryan Babel.

Gerrard has played a masterstroke though in putting Suarez, Torres and Henry together in the same attack with Xabi Alonso sitting next to him in the middle of the field.

Carragher has done his best but we have a feeling that he could be in for a long afternoon in that backline.
