Manuel Neuer might not be the only professional “fly goalkeeper” in world football. When the German shotstopper isn’t making highlight reel saves, you can usually find him in possession, trying to beat opposition players, sometimes not far from the half way line.
Many thought this was what made the Bayern Munich goalkeeper unique. Well, I’m afraid I’ve got bad news for you, Manuel. You’re not that special.
There’s another guy playing in goals for Mexican club Tigres UANL that’s copying your style and his name is Nahuel Guzman.
Check out the ridiculous clip below of the Argentine goalkeeper picking the ball up from outside his box, before beating two players, running past another and then giving the ball a monstrous clearance out of harm’s way .
He should look into changing his name to Neuer Guzman.
