Happy (belated) birthday to the KNVB

OK, this video is all in Dutch so we genuinely have no idea what they are saying but we know a bloody good video when we see it and this is it. The Dutch FA, the KNVB, was formed 125 years ago yesterday and to celebrate they produced a video featuring all the golden moments of the association.

Considering their rich footballing history you won’t be surprised to see how good this video is, and how many superb moments are included. From Feyenoord’s European Cup win over Celtic in 1970 through the glorious success Ajax had in the 1970s and 1990s it is a great trip down memory lane.

But it is the international stuff, from the World Cup near misses of 1978 and 2010, through to the wonderful goals scored by the likes of Arie Haan, Dennis Bergkamp and, of course, Marco van Basten, that really remind you just how much magic the Dutch have given football fans over the years.

Enjoy, and if you speak any Dutch, do let us know.
