Video: Steven Pienaar doesn’t do keepy-uppies like a normal footballer

He probably learned this at Ajax

About the only skill this particular SportsJOE was ever good at was being able to keep a football in motion, and off the ground, for  at least a good 20 touches.

Inevitably however one bad header and the whole enterprise would come crashing down as I desperately tried to control the ball, but instead ended up putting it over the fence.

Steven Pienaar clearly isn’t a man who knows what that feels like as the Everton player showed off some very silky touches in a warm-up recently.

The Toffees have released a video today showing the South African managing to do a reverse header into the ground to keep the ball alive, which kinda goes against the whole concept of a ‘keepy-uppie,’ but we’ll let him away with it for just having the chutzpah for trying something like this.

H/T to Everton
