Bayern Munich battled to a 1-1 draw against Schalke. It is perhaps unsurprising Pep Guardiola was as animated as ever on the touchline, mostly sharing his grievances with the fourth official.
The former Barcelona manager got locked into a pretty heated argument with the official after Bayern had a goal disallowed, and rightfully so. Guardiola appeared not to be letting up with the confrontation until it was interrupted by an Arjen Robben equaliser, and subsequently, a memorable celebration from the Spaniard.
Guardiola seemed to instantly let go of any ill will towards the 4th official as he wrapped him up in a massive bear hug to celebrate the goal.
On a side note, the other major thing we took from this video was the incredibly dull commentary. To us, it sounded like the pundit was attempting his best impersonation of one of North Norfolk Digital’s most celebrated radio DJs.
