When you say that your centre-back is good from set pieces, it normally means that they’re a big lad who’s not afraid to put his head in harm’s way.
Sergio Ramos is different.
The Real Madrid defender showed that he’s got the finishing skills to rival some of the best forwards around when he took to the air and perfectly met an Isco corner with an overhead kick to open the scoring against Sevilla.
While his striking technique looked perfect, perhaps he needs a little bit of work on his landing as he appeared to injure his shoulder upon impact and was taken off shortly afterwards.
Still, 10/10 for the Spaniard.
