We hope Mamadou Sakho likes Alcatraz because Jurgen Klopp is planning on leaving him behind.
Spirits are high in the Liverpool camp ahead of what is sure to be the most competitive Premier League in possibly forever.
Leicester are champions, Spurs are runners-up and there’s already a top four that doesn’t even include Manchester United, Chelsea, or Liverpool.
Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and Jurgen Klopp are some of the finest managers in world football and they’re in charge of sides that didn’t even break third place last season. Grab your popcorn and enjoy.
Unless you’re Paul Scholes.

Liverpool are coming in under the radar. Jurgen Klopp’s signature of Georginio Wijnaldum raised a few eyebrows but the German explained that he had been tracking the player for a long time.
The mood is good in the camp and on the squad’s tour of Alcatraz, Mamadou Sakho was trying to take the piss out of his manager. It didn’t work.
The defender interrupted an interview Klopp was conducting, asking him how long the boss thinks he could live in the world famous prison.
The reply was brilliant. It’s not something Klopp has to worry about but it is something Mama should think of…
