Lille's Ligue 1 game with Evian went ahead last night despite the awful events in Paris and the fans made sure their voices were heard
Before last night's game between Lille and Evian an impeccably respected minute's silence was held for the victims of the shocking attack on the Charlie Hedbo offices.
But what happened afterwards is really specially. Unprompted, the crowd burst into a stunning version of the French national anthem, a true show of the country's defiance in the face of terror.
