The Gillette Soccer Saturday presenter, and everybody’s dream uncle, had a minor breakdown as he struggled to come to terms with the fact that the fourth official had signalled for an additional 12 minutes after his beloved Hartlepool had already played 90 against Wimbledon.
The rollercoaster of emotions overcame Stelling so much that he just couldn’t help but interrupt the classified results with the final score as his side came through unscathed with a 1-0 victory.
