Had it not been for James McClean, one fan would have missed one of the defining moments of the game that saw Ireland seal their place in Euro 2016.
McClean took a breather from warming up near the corner flag when Walters stepped up to take the penalty with the game tied 0-0.
The Derry native stood up and wandered right in front of a fan on the sideline, blocking his view of the spot kick. When the fan informed McClean of what he was doing, he reacted like an absolute professional, ducked down and checked back with the spectator to make sure he was out of the way.
Thumbs up.
Walters converts.
The crowd lose their minds.
