Deadline day hasn’t quite lived up to the hype. Well, does it ever?
At least for five minutes we had Gary Neville on board to give his insight into the window, into the departing United legend player Anderson, and a few other musings that broke up the nothingness we’re all somehow glued to.
Neville and his Monday Night Football partner Jamie Carragher showed up at Sky Sports News – presumably mid wedding – and the former United full back gave his thoughts on Anderson as he looks set to leave Old Trafford.
Whilst he thinks the Brazilian has an enormous amount of potential, he also reckons that he’s “really capable of playing in big matches.” And there was us starting to love him, too.
Neville believes that Michael Carrick’s injury could prompt Darren Fletcher to think about staying and there’s a few other moments worth a watch as well.
