And as Neville began listing some of the great players who wore the number 7 jersey at Manchester United – including George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo – Carragher cheekily suggested that Michael Owen ought to be make the list.
Raucous laughter ensued and host Ed Chamberlin even struggled to keep a straight face at the mention of Owen’s name among those United legends.
