Dundalk, take a bow.
Not for the league and cup double that you’ve just secured but for the absolute tunes that you belted out upon your return to Oriel Park.
The Lilywhites celebrated their FAI Cup final triumph in some style after returning to Louth from a fruitful day out at the Aviva.
Richie Towell, scorer of the deciding goal in extra time, led the lads on a chorus of David Grey’s “Babylon.”
But the biggest classic of all came from Chris Shields who dug deeply into his back pocket before belting out Ini Kamoze’s “Here Comes the Hotstepper.”
WP_20151108_23_42_24_Pro.mp4Here you are folks, this is a fab video clip I captured during the celebrations last night in Oriel Park. Here we witness the rare talents of Richie Rowell singing his version of David Grey’s “Babylon” and Chris Shields with his version of Ini Kamoze’s “Here comes the Hotstepper” joined by the rest of the newly formed DUNDALK FC CHOIR….NA, NA,NA,NA,NA! ……. Enjoy ?
