On a day of sensational saves in the Premier League, and some very very good goals, there won’t be anything to compare to this wonder strike from Charlie Adam for Stoke against Chelsea tonight.
The former Liverpool man is playing for Potters this evening at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues led 1-0 approaching half time after Eden Hazard had slotted home a penalty to give them the advantage.
Stoke were looking to get back into the game but really hadn’t produced much until this incredible strike from the Adam. Picking the ball up a full 50metres from the Chelsea goal and well inside his own half, he spotted Thibaut Courtois off his line and with a swerving strike neatly lobbed the ‘keeper.
It’s not a fluke-it’s pure class.
