On Monday night, Matuidi pretty much single-handedly defeated Serbia. The PSG man scored both goals during France’s 2-1 friendly victory in Bordeaux.
There was no doubt over which of his two efforts was the best though, that title definitely belongs to his second.
Matuidi made it 2-0 to the good with a simply phenomenal strike around the 25 minute mark. A Serbian defender cleared a corner at the near post, but Matuidi was waiting on the edge of the box where he met clearance perfectly to rifle the ball into the roof of the net.
